It can be hard to stick with any type of schedule when the kids are home for summer. I want to soak up each and every day before school begins again and the weather turns cold.
We’ve been working hard to keep up with our summer reading and math facts–school is completely different now. I remember throwing my backpack in the closet after a school year and spending three months barefooted without giving school another thought.
Now, we have summer work packets…reading goals…math sprints. We do our best.
And sometimes…we are more like this 🙂
For me, living smaller means spending as much quality time as I can with my family. We are working on a few projects–I am decorating a friend’s home and the kids and I are building a doll house out of a book shelf. It’s keeping us busy. Stay tuned for photos!
