There is a saying that the three greatest gifts that you can give someone are your mind, your love, and your attention.

In seeking a more minimalist approach to our family’s holiday, I carefully choose a few gifts that I know will be used and appreciated. Next, I take care in presenting them in a loving and thoughtful way.  Having a signature gift wrap helps make our holiday morning special.

Holiday Swans and Polka Dots

Each year, I choose a theme–typically a graphic and a geometric together. The swans were a sweet, feminine paper that I found at Home Goods, and the polka dots came from Target.

I tend to gravitate towards non-traditional prints and patterns that can be used throughout the year.

Last year, I fell in love with this pink and olive tree graphic mixed with navy dots…and yes, I love all things polka dots 🙂  I recycle ribbons from year to year and add fresh greenery trimmed from the trees outside and add ornaments or bells to make the gifts extra festive.

We find joy and anticipation in the small details. Little things, done with care…happy holidays!
