Water Under the Bridge, Watercolor

So, here we are in October!

The weather is changing quickly in upstate NY. The beautiful leaves have mostly fallen to the ground and there is a chill in the air. Our beautiful CSA share ends this month. I’m going to miss going to our local farm and harvesting fresh veggies and wild flowers.

I have taken up watercolor for a new hobby. I love that it feeds my creativity and keeps me busy while I’m cooped up. It’s portable enough that I can take small canvases to the beach or on the boat. My last art class was in the 8th grade…so this is kind of a big deal 🙂

Enjoying the last beautiful fall afternoons…

I realized the other day that we are beginning our fifth year of urban living. There have been some real rewards to downsizing as well as some frustrations. I hope to post soon with an update on the experience.
